We will have our 100th Annual meeting in-person at the Prairie Street Brewing House (while still respecting CDC recommendations to prevent the spread of COVID-19) at 9:30 am (doors open and refreshments available at 9 am).

We’ll kick things off with a toast to our 100 years!  You can toast with fresh juice or add a splash of Champagne to celebrate.

We have several exciting guest speakers, including:

Annette Baldwin, who has researched, lectured and performed on the women’s suffrage movement for 25+ years, who will present ”Chief of Change: The Life of Carrie Chapman Catt.”

Regional Poetry Out Loud competition winners from Jefferson High School, Olivia Vereb and Kelcey Dodd.

Following the speakers we will enjoy a fabulous brunch with your choice of:

  • Egg bake: baked eggs with seasonal vegetables, plus fruit and roasted potatoes
    (gluten free, dairy free, vegetarian)

  • Quiche: Smoked bacon, caramelized onion and gruyere, plus fruit and roasted potatoes

Coffee, hot tea and juice will be provided to all.

We’ll wrap up the morning by conducting our annual meeting, which will include introducing new members, voting on a by-law amendment, and award announcements.

Please register for the annual meeting by going on-line www.lwvgr.org/join, or by sending a check (and the form on page 4 of your packet).  The cost is $30, but please let us know if you would like assistance with the expense.

We hope to see you Saturday, June 4!
