It’s time once again for the Great American Cleanup, hosted every year by Keep Northern Illinois Beautiful (KNIB). This year’s event will be held on Saturday, April 29th. KNIB will supply garbage bags, pickers, gloves, and safety vests and will offer a special garbage pickup on that day. If you would like someone from KNIB to come talk to your group about the Great American Cleanup and/or other opportunities for cleaning up your neighborhood and improving the environment, let me know and I will get you connected! They are eager to speak to groups like yours and really want to work with you.
